Susan Krinard is a well-known author, celebrated for her work in the paranormal romance genre. Krinard's journey as a writer began in 1992, when a friend read one of her short stories and encouraged her to try writing a romance novel. With her long-standing love for science fiction and fantasy, Krinard found a new purpose in combining these two genres. This led to the creation of her first romance novel, "Prince of Wolves," which was published in 1993 by Bantam as part of a three-book contract. The novel quickly became a success and made several bestseller lists.
Born with a BFA in Illustration from the California College of Arts and Crafts, Krinard initially trained as an artist. However, her passion for writing led her to pursue a career in this field instead. Over the years, Krinard has written and published more than fourteen paranormal and fantasy novels, as well as contributing stories to various anthologies in both fantasy and romance genres. Some of her notable works include "Out of This World" and "Lord of the Beasts," both of which appeared on the New York Times Bestseller List.
Krinard currently resides in New Mexico, also known as the "Land of Enchantment," with her husband Serge, their dogs Freya, Nahla, and Cagney, and their cat Jefferson. When she's not busy writing, Krinard enjoys a wide range of hobbies, including listening to music, watching old movies, reading, and exploring nature. She also has a passion for baking and collecting unique handmade jewelry and decorative crafts.
