Susana López Rubio

Susana López Rubio is a Spanish writer and screenwriter with an extensive career in the audiovisual industry. Born in Madrid in 1978, she has contributed to numerous television series, including "Policías: en el corazón de la calle," "Hospital Central," "La chica de ayer," and "Física o química." She adapted María Dueñas's novel into the miniseries "El tiempo entre costuras" and created the television series "Acacias 38." Her film work includes co-writing the screenplay for "Cómo sobrevivir a una despedida" and the animated short "Juan y la nube," which won the 2015 Goya Award for Best Animated Short Film.

In addition to her screenwriting, López Rubio has authored two children's books, "La mejor familia del mundo" and "Martín en el mundo de las cosas perdidas." She writes for both adult and young audiences, showcasing her versatility across genres. As an educator, she teaches at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid's Máster Universitario en Cine y Televisión and collaborates with DAMA, further contributing to the development of future audiovisual professionals.
