Suzanne Enoch is a bestselling American author, known for her historical romance novels, contemporary romantic suspense novels, and Scottish Highlands historical romances. She was born in Southern California and grew up with a love for books and storytelling. Enoch's dream of becoming a zoologist ended after watching a television program about poisonous snakes, which led her to pursue writing instead. She attended the University of California, Irvine, where she earned a degree in English.
Enoch's writing career began in the romantic fantasy genre after she completed her degree. Later, she ventured into writing Regency romances, with her first book, "The Black Duke’s Price," published in 1995. In 2002, she decided to devote herself full-time to writing.
