Suzanne Kelman is a successful author and screenwriter, known for her work in historical fiction and women's fiction. She has received numerous awards for her writing, including the Best Comedy Feature Screenplay Award from the L.A. International Film Festival, the Gold Award from the California Film Awards, and the Van Gogh Award from the Amsterdam Film Festival. Born in the United Kingdom, Kelman now resides in Washington State.
In addition to her success as an author, Kelman is also an accomplished screenwriter and playwright. Her script, Held, was recognized by the Academy of Motion Pictures and was shortlisted to the top ten in the Academy Of Motion Pictures Nichols Fellowship competition in 2015.
