Suzanne Williams

Suzanne Williams is a successful American author, best known for her work in children's literature. She has written over 50 books, including the popular Goddess Girls series and the Heroes in Training series. Williams is a prolific writer, with other series such as Princess Power and Fairy Blossoms also under her belt. She is not to be confused with another children's author of the same name, Suzanne Morgan Williams, who primarily writes non-fiction.

Williams grew up in Oregon and attended the University of Oregon, where she earned a bachelor's degree in sociology and a master's degree in library science. After college, she moved to Washington with her husband and began working as a librarian. It wasn't until she had worked as a librarian for ten years and started a family of her own that she began writing. She has two grown children and a pet dog named Toby.

In addition to her successful co-authored series with Joan Holub, Williams has also written many standalone books. Her picture book Library Lil, illustrated by Steven Kellogg, won the New Mexico children's choice award in 2000 and was featured on several other state award lists. Overall, Williams has made a significant contribution to children's literature, with her books providing entertainment and education to young readers.
