Sydney Strand

Sydney Strand is an author known for her romantic and humorous novels, influenced by her love of witty banter and dynamic couples. She began her writing career at a young age, penning her first story, "Christmas on Dolphin Island," at ten years old. Strand has since published multiple works, including four stories through the imprint Treat Books and two novels under a different name for Penguin Random House. Her writing often blends romance with lighthearted humor, drawing inspiration from shows like "New Girl" and "The Mindy Project".

Previously, Strand wrote young adult novels under a pseudonym for a major publisher before transitioning to independent publishing. Her works reflect her playful tone and appreciation for engaging, laugh-out-loud relationships. Residing in New England, she finds inspiration in the region's colonial charm, particularly its craft shows and pie festivals. Strand lives in a 1935 colonial home with her husband, two children, and two cats, along with a weed-eating groundhog that occasionally visits her backyard. While she continues to write, she also harbors aspirations of winning an apple pie contest with her famously indulgent recipe.
