T.C. LoTempio is a New York Times bestselling author, known for her expertise in writing cozy mystery novels. Born in New York City, she is famous for creating the Nick and Nora Mysteries series, which includes the national bestseller, Meow If It’s Murder. LoTempio has been a staff reporter for the young adult magazine, Susabella Passengers and Friends, for over a decade. Her love for mystery novels began at the tender age of ten when she read her first Nancy Drew mystery, The Secret in the Old Attic.
LoTempio's passion for writing mystery novels is evident in her work, despite having no real-life experiences in solving or committing murders. Her favorite mystery/suspense writers include Erle Stanley Gardner, Mary Higgins Clark, and James Patterson, as well as EJ Copperman, Steve Hockensmith, Victoria Laurie, Ali Brandon, Rita Mae Brown, Miranda James, and Sofie Kelly.
