TK Carter, casually known as Tami, is a Southern-born author specializing in women's fiction and dystopian suspense. Her published works include the women’s fiction novels "Independence" and "An Afternoon with Aunt Viv," as well as the dystopian series "Collapse" and "Three Meals to Anarchy." She also authored "The Yellow Flag Series," with its third installment released in 2015. Carter’s writing often reflects her personal experiences, blending humor and raw honesty into her narratives.

Raised in mid-Missouri, Carter now resides in Troy with her husband and their blended family. Her journey as a divorced mother and head of household inspired her candid blog, "My Ms. Adventures," where she shares unfiltered insights into her life.
