Tina M. Clark, also known as T.M. Clark, is a celebrated author, born in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, on August 1, 1969. She is renowned for her thriller, contemporary, and children's fiction novels. Clark was born as Tina Marie Clark and spent her childhood in Zimbabwe, where she attended a boarding school in her hometown. She later completed her senior school education in South Africa. Clark has often described her years in the senior school hostel as being similar to her home.
Clark's love for storytelling, different cultures, and wildlife is evident in her multicultural books. She has been nominated for a Queensland Literary Award and is a Children's Book Council Notable. Clark has written several successful standalone books, including 'Child of Africa,' 'My Brother But One,' 'Nature of the Lion,' 'Shooting Butterflies,' and 'Cry of the Firebird.' She has also collaborated with other authors, such as Tabitha Robbins, Mel Teshco, Robyn Grady, and Sara Hantz, to produce a short story collection called 'Christmas Assortment Box.'
T.M. Clark has expanded her writing to include children's picture books, with 'Slowly! Slowly!' being a 2018 CBCA Notable Book and 'Quickly! Quickly!' as companion books to 'Child Of Africa.'
