Tania Walsh, who also writes under the name T. M. E. Walsh, is a talented author best known for her DCI Claire Winters series. Walsh turned to writing in 2008 after becoming a victim of the economic downturn. Her first novels, part of the DCI Claire Winters series, were self-published and met with an enthusiastic response from readers. This success led to HQ – HarperCollins publishing subsequent editions of her work in 2015.
In 2011, Walsh won the Wannabe a Writer Blurb contest, which was supported by Writing Magazine and judged by Matt Bates, the Fiction buyer for WHSmith Travel. This recognition further solidified her position as a promising new voice in the world of crime fiction. Prior to her writing career, Walsh also produced digital artwork that was featured on a DVD-ROM for the FXPosé section in ImagineFX magazine's 2007 edition, which was published worldwide.
Walsh is currently working on a new standalone thriller, as well as the fourth book in the DCI Claire Winters series. She is married and has one child, a daughter, with whom she resides in Hertfordshire. With her captivating storytelling and relatable characters, Walsh continues to enthrall readers and establish herself as a prominent figure in the literary world.
