T.W. Brown is a writer who currently resides in the Pacific Northwest. He lives with his wife Denise and their dog Aoife. They have also recently added two more dogs, Tyrion and Freyja, to their family. Brown is a fan of football, particularly the Oregon Ducks and the Seattle Seahawks. He also enjoys various other interests, including Cookie Monster, KISS, and Dr. Who, as well as most things British.
Brown's writing career began when he wrote a short story for a college Creative Writing class about zombies. His teacher, Ms. Bose, recognized his talent and love for the subject and encouraged him to pursue it further. This led to the creation of his first book, Zomblog, which was initially intended to be a warm-up exercise for another project. However, after receiving positive feedback and a published copy from his wife as a Christmas present, Brown decided to turn it into a trilogy. He has since released six books in the Zomblog series, with the latest one, Zomblog: Snoe's Journey, released on Halloween of 2013.
In addition to the Zomblog series, Brown is also known for his DEAD series, which is a 12-part epic series about a zombie apocalypse. The series is told from the perspective of three different characters: Steve Hobart, a man who becomes a leader for a group of survivors; a group of four self-proclaimed zombie "geeks" who believe that the apocalypse would be fun; and a series of vignettes that provide snapshots of events from around the world. Brown has also begun a new horror/comedy series called "That Ghoul Ava." He maintains a blog at authortwbrown.com and can be contacted at his email. He is also active on Twitter @AuthorTWBrown and on Facebook under Todd Brown, Author TW Brown, and May December Publications.
