Tabitha King

Tabitha King is a successful American author, known for her rich literary career that includes eight novels, two non-fiction books, short stories, and poetry. Born Tabitha Jane-Frances Spruce in Old Town, Maine, she is the fourth of eight children to Raymond George and Sarah Jane White Spruce. Growing up, King received her primary education at St. Mary's Grammar in Old Town and later attended John Bapst Memorial High School in Bangor, where she graduated in 1967. Her passion for learning led her to earn a Bachelor's degree in history from the University of Maine in Orono in 1971.

Apart from her achievements as an author, King is also well-known for her personal life, as she is married to the famous author Stephen King. Together, they have three children, including two authors, Owen King and Joe Hill. Despite being married to a literary giant, King has built her own identity in the world of literature, creating a diverse body of work that is both engaging and thought-provoking. Many of her novels are set in the fictional location of Nodd's Ridge, which adds depth and continuity to her storytelling. Her writing showcases her unique voice and perspective, making her a respected and accomplished author in her own right.
