Tammy Chang

Tammy Chang is a holistic nutrition and fitness coach with a multifaceted career spanning education, wellness, and cultural arts. Born and raised in Ohio to Taiwanese parents, she holds a BA in Public Policy from Duke University and an MS in Childhood Education from Brooklyn College, which she earned as a New York City Teaching Fellow. After five years as a public school teacher, she transitioned to coaching clients in healthy eating, cooking, and active living, drawing from her certification in holistic nutrition from Bauman College and her experiences on organic farms.

Beyond her work in nutrition, Chang is deeply engaged in cultural and physical pursuits. She teaches capoeira and runs a school for the martial art in Oakland, California, where she also enjoys exploring nature. Her approach to wellness is influenced by her Taiwanese heritage, her passion for global cuisines, and her connections to gardening and farming communities. An avid reader of science fiction, Chang balances her professional life with personal interests, including handstand practice and spending time with loved ones.
