Terry Davis

Terry Davis is an American novelist and professor emeritus of English at Minnesota State University, Mankato, where he taught creative writing, screenwriting, and adolescent literature. He is best known for his young adult novels, including "Vision Quest" (1979), "Mysterious Ways" (1984), and "If Rock & Roll Were a Machine" (1992). Davis also authored "Presenting Chris Crutcher," a biography of the acclaimed young-adult writer. His works often explore themes of adolescence, self-discovery, and personal growth.

Before his academic career, Davis worked as a high school English teacher and wrestling coach, experiences that informed his authentic portrayal of teenage protagonists.
