Tessa Dawn is a successful American author, best known for her "Blood Curse" series of Gothic/Dark Fantasy romance novels. She was born and raised in Colorado, where she developed a deep love for the Rocky Mountains from a young age. Dawn's passion for writing began early in her life, and by the time she was eleven years old, she had already written her first full-length novel. By the time she graduated from high school, she had filled a banker's box with short stories and novels.
After high school, Dawn went on to earn a bachelor's degree in psychology and worked for several years in mental health and criminal justice. She later returned to school to obtain a master's degree in non-profit management. In addition to her academic pursuits, Dawn has written various literary works, including poetry, greeting cards, workbooks for children with autism, and academic curricula. However, it was not until she returned to her creative-writing roots that she truly found her passion.
Dawn's Dark Fantasy/Gothic Romance novels have been widely successful, with fifteen books in the "Blood Curse" series alone. Her novels have reached #1 bestselling status eighteen times and have earned her a spot on the Amazon charts next to renowned authors Stephen King and Sherrilyn Kenyon. With readers in over 100 countries, Dawn has become a household name in the genre. Despite her success, she remains humble and true to her craft, often splitting her time between the Colorado suburbs and mountains with her two children and their "very crazy cat." Dawn hopes to one day move to the country to own horses and a German shepherd, two of her greatest passions outside of writing.
