Thomas Ott is a Swiss graphic artist, illustrator, and comics creator known for his distinctive scratchboard technique and noir-inspired storytelling. Born in Zürich in 1966, Ott trained as a graphic artist at the School of Design in Zürich before establishing himself as a freelance comics artist and illustrator in 1987. His visually striking works often explore dark, surreal themes through meticulous black-and-white imagery.
Ott expanded his creative pursuits by studying film at the University of Art and Design (HGK) in Zürich from 1998 to 2001, further refining his narrative sensibilities. Beyond his comics career, he is also the lead singer of the band The Playboys. He divides his time between Zürich and Paris, continuing to produce his signature macabre and visually arresting graphic narratives.
