Thomas Stimson

Thomas Stimson is a Washington State native and United States Coast Guard veteran known for his "fish out of water" narratives, blending humor with perilous or unfamiliar scenarios. His published works include the historical novella "The Jackass" (2020), set during Columbus's era, the 1960s Eastern European mystery "The Secret of Linden Court" (2023), and the fictional memoir "The Rising Star of Kimmie Coconut Tree" (2024). Under the pen name Charles Thomas, he has also authored the SweetSips series of liqueur-making recipe books.

A member of the Northwest Independent Writers Association (NIWA), Stimson has contributed short stories to their anthologies "Guests," "Illusion," and "Journey." His upcoming 2025 releases include the Italian-set romantic comedy "The Prince of Nothing" and the tragedy "A Bitter Ending in Sugar Land," which explores the life of a young Sikh in Texas. Drawing from his experiences and imagination, Stimson writes with a focus on retirement, aiming to share his stories with a broader audience.
