Tim Tigner is a bestselling American author, known for his political and spy thriller novels. He was born in Toledo, Ohio, and grew up in the Midwest. Tigner studied philosophy and mathematics at Hanover College before joining the US Army Special Forces, where he worked with the Green Berets as a Soviet Counterintelligence officer during the Cold War.
After leaving the military, Tigner pursued an MBA in international studies from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School. He then worked as a financial analyst and foreign exchange trader. Tigner’s interest in thriller writing began in 1996, and he has been actively writing and growing his passion for creative writing ever since.
In addition to his writing, Tigner has had a varied and adventurous career. He has climbed mountains, gone hand gliding, scuba diving, and skiing in various locations around the world. He has also acted on stage, taught negotiations, chaired conferences, and studied psychology, radiology, and philosophy in different countries. Tigner’s experiences have given him a wealth of knowledge and insights, which he incorporates into his thrilling and creative write-ups.
