Tim Willocks

Tim Willocks is a renowned British author and physician, known for his expertise in writing historical fiction, mystery, crime, thriller, action, contemporary, fantasy, and young adult stories. He has published a number of successful books, including the popular Mattias Tannhauser series and several standalone novels. His work is appreciated and enjoyed by readers all over the world.

Willocks was born on October 27, 1957, in Stalybridge, Chesire, England. He studied medicine at the University College Medical School and, after his graduation, worked as a physician for a few years, specializing in the rehabilitation of patients suffering from drug addiction. Willocks' background in medicine and psychiatry has given him a unique perspective and insight, which he has incorporated into his writing.

In 1991, Willocks made the transition from medicine to writing, publishing his first novel, Bad City Blues. This was followed by the 1994 novel Green River Rising and the 1995 book Bloodstained Kings. Willocks also co-wrote the novel Sweet Angel Mine.
