Timothy R. Baldwin

Tim is an educator and writer with a passion for storytelling rooted in his childhood experiences. Originally from Syracuse, New York, he now resides in Maryland, where he teaches English, Creative Writing, Film, and Theatre at the secondary level. His writing career began in earnest in 2014 at the encouragement of his students, drawing inspiration from literary influences such as C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien, and Piers Anthony. His published works span multiple genres, with a particular affinity for mysteries, thrillers, and fantasy.

With over 15 years of teaching experience, Tim holds a B.S. in Theatre from Towson University, an M.A.T. from Notre Dame of Maryland University, and an M.A. in Creative Writing and Literature from Fairleigh Dickinson University. His academic background informs his writing style, blending narrative depth with thematic richness. Since his debut publication in 2019, he has steadily built a diverse body of work, reflecting his broad literary interests. Outside of writing, he enjoys reading, camping, and attending live music events.
