Todd Burpo is a Christian non-fiction author and a pastor at Wesleyan Church. He is well-known for his dedication to his family and community, serving not only as a pastor but also as a volunteer fireman. Todd and his wife, Sonja, are proud parents to four children: their eldest daughter Cassie, followed by Colton, a younger brother Colby, and a sister that Colton met in heaven who has yet to be named.

Beyond his role as a pastor and family man, Todd has also worn many hats throughout his career. He has operated an overhead garage door company, coached wrestling, and served on a local school board. Todd's education includes a BA in Theology from Oklahoma Wesleyan University, where he graduated summa cum laude in 1991. He was ordained in 1994. In 2011, Todd established Heaven is for Real Ministries, Inc. in response to the overwhelming interest in his book.

Todd's most notable work is his Christian non-fiction book, "Heaven is for Real," which he published in 2010. The book is a memoir that shares the story of his son Colton's experience of visiting heaven during a surgical procedure. The book quickly became a New York Times bestseller and has been adapted into a feature film. Todd's writing and speaking focus on sharing the message of hope and faith that he and his family experienced through Colton's story.
