Tommy Robinson

Tommy Robinson is a British far-right activist who has been involved in several organizations and political parties. He is best known as the co-founder of the English Defence League (EDL), a far-right, Islamophobic organization that protested against the alleged spread of Islam and Sharia law in the UK. Robinson served as the organization's leader until 2013, when he stepped down due to internal conflicts and the direction the group was taking.

In addition to his work with the EDL, Robinson has also been a member of the British National Party (BNP), a far-right, nationalist political party in the UK. However, he later distanced himself from the BNP and criticized its leaders and policies. Robinson has also served as a political adviser to the Leader of the UK Independence Party (UKIP), another right-wing political party in the UK.

Robinson has been a vocal critic of Islam and has argued that it is incompatible with British values and culture. He has also been a prominent figure in the so-called "counter-jihad" movement, which seeks to resist the spread of Islam in the West. In 2015, Robinson published a book of memoirs called "Tommy Robinson: Enemy of the State," in which he detailed his experiences as a far-right activist and the challenges he has faced from the authorities and the media.

Robinson is known for his speeches against the "islamization of Europe" and has been described as an "avid speaker" on the topic. He has been a prominent figure in several high-profile protests and demonstrations, and has been arrested and jailed several times for his activism. Despite the controversies surrounding him, Robinson has maintained a large following and continues to be a prominent voice in the far-right movement in the UK.
