Tracy Hickman

Tracy Hickman is a New York Times bestselling fantasy author best known for co-creating the "Dragonlance" universe with Margaret Weis and his wife Laura Hickman. His prolific career spans over five decades, with more than fifty books in print worldwide, including the foundational "Dragonlance Chronicles" and "Dragonlance Legends" series. Hickman has also authored or co-authored notable works such as the "Rose of the Prophet" trilogy, the "Darksword" trilogy, and the seven-book "Deathgate Cycle." His collaborative game designs with Laura Hickman, including the original "Ravenloft" and "Oasis of the White Palm" series, have left an enduring mark on fantasy role-playing.

Beyond his contributions to fantasy literature, Hickman has explored diverse creative ventures, from scripting DC Comics' "Wayne of Gotham" Batman novel to writing and editing the first science-fiction movie filmed in space. His innovative work extended to designing location-based virtual reality experiences for The VOID from 2015 to 2022.
