Trent Jamieson is an award-winning author specializing in science fiction and fantasy. He is best known for his novels "The Stone Road" and "Day Boy," both published by Erewhon in 2022, as well as the "Death Works Trilogy" and the "Roil Duology." His work has garnered critical acclaim, with "Day Boy" earning a nomination for the Dublin Literary Award in 2015 and winning the Aurealis Awards for both Fantasy and Horror. Similarly, "The Stone Road" was shortlisted for an Australian Shadows Award and a Ditmar Award, while also securing the 2022 Aurealis Award for Horror.
Beyond his adult fiction, Jamieson has also made significant contributions to children's literature. His picture book "The Giant and the Sea," illustrated by Rovina Cai, won the 2021 Environment Award for Children's Literature in the Picture Fiction category. His latest release, "Mr Impoppable," illustrated by Brent Wilson, continues his collaboration with visual artists.
