Trenton Lee Stewart

Trenton Lee Stewart is a New York Times bestselling author, renowned for his work in children's books and literature & fiction novels. He was born on May 27, 1970, in Hot Springs, Arkansas, where he spent most of his childhood. Stewart's interest in writing began in the third grade, and he went on to earn a creative writing MFA from the Iowa Writer's Workshop in 1995. His teaching career included positions at the Summer Writing Festival in Iowa and Miami University in Ohio.

Stewart gained significant popularity with the publication of his Mysterious Benedict Society novel series. The initial novels in the series became bestsellers, with the first book remaining on the New York Times bestseller list for over a year. Following this success, Stewart continued to teach creative writing at Hendrix College and later moved to Little Rock, Arkansas, where he focused on writing full-time. In 2012, he published a prequel novel to the Mysterious Benedict Society series. Currently, Stewart is working on developing a couple of children's books that contain elements of adventure and mystery from the Benedict series.
