Trisha Das

Trisha Das is a highly accomplished author and documentary filmmaker. She has written several books, including the popular "Ms Draupadi Kuru: After the Pandavas" and its sequel "The Misters Kuru: A Return to Mahabharata," as well as "Kama’s Last Sutra," "The Mahabharata Re-imagined," "The Art of the Television Interview," and "How to write a Documentary Script." Her work has been well-received, with "Ms Draupadi Kuru" even being nominated for the MAMI Book to Screen award.

In addition to her work as an author, Das is also an accomplished filmmaker, having directed over 40 documentaries in her career. She has won numerous awards for her filmmaking, including an Indian National Film Award and the University of Georgia’s International Artist of the year award. Her films have been widely screened at international film festivals and have helped to promote social change across India.

Das is also a contributor to various publications, having written columns and short stories for outlets like Cosmopolitan, Harper’s Bazaar, Grazia India, Hindustan Times, and Scroll. She is also a member of the jury for the Orange Flower Festival. With her impressive body of work and numerous accolades, Das has established herself as a prominent and respected figure in both the literary and filmmaking worlds.
