Troon Harrison is an internationally published, award-winning author, editor, and educator with a diverse literary career spanning multiple genres and age groups. She has written 24 books, including picture books, junior chapter books, and teen-adult crossover novels, with works in historical fiction, science fiction, fantasy, and contemporary fiction. Her stories have been published in six languages across eight countries and have earned critical acclaim in prominent publications such as "The Globe and Mail", "Quill and Quire", and "Kirkus Reviews". Two of her picture books have been adapted into animated television shows airing on YTV.
Born in the Rocky Mountains of British Columbia and raised primarily in Cornwall, England, Harrison holds degrees in sociology, primary education, and English literature.
