Vacirca Vaughn

Vacirca V. Vaughn is a Christian fiction writer, poet, and spoken word artist whose works explore faith-based themes. She has published four novels, including "AYITI," "AYITI: CONTINUED," "JUDE," and "THE MAKEOVER," with the sequel "JUDE: CONTINUED" released in 2015. Her earlier poetry collections, "IF MY SOUL COULD TALK" and "ON THE OUTSIDE LOOKING IN," reflect her pre-conversion writing style, while her later works emphasize her renewed Christian faith.

A licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience in mental health and substance abuse counseling, Vaughn balances her professional career with her passion for ministry through writing. Inspired by the 2010 Haiti earthquake and her own spiritual journey, she returned to writing after a ten-year hiatus. She founded Esther 31 Ministries, a faith-based initiative aimed at spreading the Gospel through creative arts, including fiction, poetry, drama, and film. Vaughn’s writing ranges from conservative to unconventional, always seeking to resonate with readers on a spiritual level.

Beyond her literary work, Vaughn is active in her church’s intercessory prayer ministry and continues to develop projects that merge faith and storytelling. Her dedication to Christian ministry through the arts remains a driving force in her career.
