Valerie Bowman

Valerie Bowman is an accomplished American author, well-known for her Regency historical romance novels. She has written several series, including the Secret Brides and the Playful Brides series. Her captivating storytelling has earned her a reputation as a gifted writer in her genre.

Raised in Illinois as the youngest of seven sisters, Bowman developed a love for historical romance novels at a young age. She pursued her passion for literature at Smith College, where she earned her English Language and Literature degree with a minor in history. Upon finishing her education, she relocated to Florida to escape the cold Illinois winters. Currently, Bowman resides in Jacksonville, Florida, with her family and two dogs. When she is not writing, Bowman enjoys reading, traveling, and watching a mix of reality TV and PBS.

Bowman's writing career has been marked by numerous achievements and accolades.
