Vanessa Diffenbaugh

Vanessa Diffenbaugh is a distinguished American author, known for her poignant and best-selling fiction works. She was born in San Francisco, but spent her formative years in Chico, California. After completing her education at Stanford University, Diffenbaugh dedicated her time to teaching art and technology in low-income communities, further enriching her appreciation for the transformative power of creativity and education.

In addition to her literary career, Diffenbaugh is a dedicated philanthropist and nonprofit founder. She co-founded the Camellia Network, now known as Lifeset Network, with a mission to support youth transitioning from foster care by connecting them to essential resources and opportunities. This passion for helping youth in the foster care system stems from her personal experience as an adoptive mother to a foster child, Tre'von. Diffenbaugh, her husband PK, and their four children, Donovan, Tre'von, Graciela, and Miles, currently reside in Monterey, California.
