Victor Milan is a renowned American author, best known for his works in the fantasy, science fiction, thriller, and Western genres. He first gained prominence when he won the Prometheus Award in 1986 for his novel "Cybernetic Samurai." Milan has been a writer for over 31 years, though he has also held various jobs, including computer support technician, semi-pro actor, cowboy, long-time emcee of the Collinsville, Illinois Archon multi-genre convention, and Albuquerque rock DJ. Milan has been a writer for most of his adult life, except for a brief period in 2000 when he had to take formal employment.
Milan was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and now resides in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He is well-known for his interest in cybernetics and his libertarian bent in science fiction.
