Victoria Landis

Victoria Landis is an author, editor, and artist with a longstanding affiliation with Mystery Writers of America, including serving on the board of its Florida Chapter. She co-chaired the SleuthFest Writers' Conference from 2015 to 2018 and has taught writing craft and cover design at venues such as Nova Southeastern University's Alvin Sherman Library and Murder on the Beach's Authors' Academy. Her novel "Jordan" explores themes of modern-day miracles, social media virality, and the unchanging nature of humanity.

A versatile writer, Landis has contributed to multiple genres, including humor and collaborative fiction. She authored Chapter Nineteen of the comedic progressive novella "Naked Came the Flamingo" and wrote a monthly humor column for The Parklander magazine for a decade. Her professional background includes "big picture" editing and book cover design, which she creates for her own works. Residing in South Florida after living in six states—including twelve years in Hawaii—she draws inspiration from her eclectic experiences while maintaining active memberships in Sisters in Crime and Mystery Writers of America.
