Victoria Lee

Victoria Lee is a distinguished American author, who has gained fame for her debut novel, "The Fever King." She has a particular interest in writing stories that fall under the genres of young adult, fantasy, and science fiction. Lee is set to release her second book in the first quarter of 2020, which will complete her first book series, the Feverwake series. She is optimistic about adding more titles to this series in the future.

Lee was born and raised in Durham, North Carolina. As a child, she was a vegetarian for the first 12 years of her life, but later discovered her love for spicy chicken wings. Before becoming a writer, Lee was involved in various activities, including hitchhiking, working as an EMT, a state finalist pianist, a pizza connoisseur, an expat in Sweden and China, and a doctoral student of science. Lee is also a fan of fancy whiskey. Her writing is influenced by several authors, such as Leigh Bardugo, Holly Black, Hanya Yanagihara, Pierce Brown, Lev Grossman, and VE Schwab.

Victoria Lee spent her childhood in Durham, North Carolina, where she wrote ghost stories and dreamt of attending boarding school. She holds a Ph.D. in psychology, which she uses to analyze fictional characters and herself. Lee is the author of "A Lesson in Vengeance," "The Fever King," and its sequel, "The Electric Heir." She currently resides in New York City with her partner, cat, and malevolent dog.
