Victoria Strauss is the author of nine novels for adults and young adults, spanning fantasy and historical fiction. Her works include the Stone duology ("The Arm of the Stone" and "The Garden of the Stone"), the Way of Arata duology ("The Burning Land" and "The Awakened City"), and the historical YA pair "Passion Blue" and "Color Song." Beyond her fiction, she has contributed hundreds of book reviews to publications such as SF Site and Black Gate, alongside writing articles on craft and publishing for Writer’s Digest.
An active member of the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America (SFWA), Strauss co-founded Writer Beware with Ann Crispin, a watchdog initiative dedicated to exposing literary scams. Her leadership in this effort earned her the SFWA Service Award in 2009. Her expertise extends to judging prestigious awards, including the World Fantasy Awards in 2006.
