Vijay Prashad is an author, historian, and executive director of Tricontinental: Institute for Social Research. He has written or edited over thirty books, including acclaimed works such as "The Darker Nations: A People’s History of the Third World" and its sequel "The Poorer Nations: A Possible History of the Global South." His most recent publications include "Red Star Over the Third World" and "Washington Bullets," the latter featuring an introduction by Evo Morales Ayma. Prashad's scholarship focuses on global South politics, postcolonial history, and international relations.
