Vincenzo Latronico

Vincenzo Latronico is an Italian author, translator, and art critic born in Rome in 1984. He made his literary debut with the novel "Ginnastica e Rivoluzione" (2008), followed by "La cospirazione delle colombe" (2011), both published by Bompiani. His works span multiple genres, including fiction, theater, and critical essays, with notable English-language publications such as "Remedies to the Absence of Reiner Ruthenbeck" (2011) and "Criticism as Fiction?" (2011).

Latronico holds a degree in Philosophy from the University of Milan and has translated works by prominent authors, including P.G. Wodehouse, F. Scott Fitzgerald, and Rudolf Carnap. His writing often explores philosophical and artistic themes, reflecting his background in both disciplines. He has contributed to publications such as Domus, Flash Art, and La Lettura del Corriere della Sera, establishing himself as a versatile voice in contemporary literature and criticism.

In addition to his written works, Latronico has engaged in radio and cultural curation, hosting a satirical segment on Radio Onda d'Urto and overseeing a literary section at Artissima 2010.
