Walt Browning is an American author who has made a name for himself in the dystopian/science fiction and medical mystery/action genres. Originally from Ohio, Browning has spent the past three decades practicing medicine in Central Florida. His journey into writing was encouraged by his personal friend and fellow author, A. American.
Browning is perhaps best known for his Extinction Survival series, which follows a retired Navy SEAL and his war dog as they navigate through a worldwide pandemic and fight to survive. The two main characters, Eric and Shrek, find themselves taking refuge at a nearby Boy Scout camp as they face a war unlike any they experienced in Iraq and Afghanistan. Browning's ability to combine action, adventure, and suspense has captivated readers and solidified his position as a talented writer in the dystopian/science fiction genre.
In addition to the Extinction Survival series, Browning has also collaborated with A. American to write the Charlie's Requiem series of books. Furthermore, Browning has expanded his repertoire to include medical mystery/action novels. With a successful career as a doctor and an accomplished author, Browning's contributions to both the medical and literary communities are noteworthy.
