Wayne Jordan is a renowned author from Barbados, who is famous for his works in the romance and literature & fiction genres. Jordan's writing career took off in 2003 when he received the news that his first book would be published. This occurred just two days before Christmas, and his debut novel, Capture the Sunrise, was released in November 2005 by BET/Arabesque as part of a special 2-in-1 volume entitled Slow Motion, along with prolific author Devon Vaughn Archer. In addition to his writing career, Jordan is also a high school teacher, where he teaches literature, theater arts, and language arts to his students. He is a graduate of the University of West Indies, where he obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in linguistics in literature and his Master of Arts degree in applied linguistics.
Jordan was born on May 2, 1962, in Bridgetown, Barbados, and currently resides on the beautiful tropical island. The island's white sands and golden sunshine provide the perfect setting for the romance stories that he loves to create. Jordan is an avid reader and enjoys the works of various authors, including Brenda Jackson, Maureen Smith, Lindsay McKenna, Tami Hoag, William Bernhardt, Nora Roberts, Catherine Mann, Delores Fossen, and Julie Miller. He is a member of NINC, RWA, and the Multicultural Chapter, and is represented by Cheryl Ferguson of the Ferguson Literary Agency.
