Wendy James

Wendy James was born in Sydney, Australia in the year 1966. She pursued her higher education with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Sydney, followed by a PhD from the University of New England, Armidale, and an MA in writing from the University of Technology, Sydney.

Wendy James is a highly acclaimed author with eight novels to her name, including bestsellers such as "The Mistake" and "The Golden Child," which was shortlisted for the 2017 Ned Kelly Award for crime. Her writing is known for its sharpness and relevance to contemporary issues, making her one of the top domestic noir novelists in the country.
