Wendy May Andrews is an inspirational and historical romance novelist who has been writing ever since she could read and write. Growing up, Wendy learned to read when she was four years old, listening to her mother read great stories to alleviate her loneliness when her big brother started school. This early exposure to literature sparked a lifelong love for words and stories, particularly historical novels. As a child, Wendy would often have her head buried in a book, and her first love has always been novels, especially of the historical variety.
Wendy has been writing for almost as long as she has been reading, although Tempting the Earl was the first story she was willing to share with anyone other than her mother. Encouraged by her husband, Wendy began writing seriously as an adult, and since then, she has published more than forty Sweet Historical Romance novels. Wendy believes firmly that everyone deserves a happily ever after and creates worlds for her readers to escape the everyday for a little while, leaving them feeling upbeat and refreshed when they come out the other side.
Wendy lives in Toronto with her own real-life hero. When not writing or reading, she loves traveling with her husband, wherever the mood takes them. Wendy's husband dared her to write a book instead of reading them all the time, and to her surprise, she found that writing had become her new favorite pastime. What started out as a hobby has become her full-time career, and she continues to share her love of historical romance with readers around the world.
