William Burton McCormick

Based in the United States, William Burton McCormick is a distinguished author of historical fiction. He was born in Maryland and spent his formative years in Nevada. McCormick holds degrees in Computer Sciences and Ancient Studies from Brown University. His passion for writing led him to further his education, earning a MA in Novel Writing from the University of Manchester. He also studied at Lomonosov Moscow State University, which provided him with valuable insights and experiences for his writing.

McCormick has a reputation for being a bold adventurer, having lived in seven different countries, including Russia and Latvia. His travels were primarily in service of his research for his debut novel, "Lenin's Harem". His dedication to his craft has earned him several accolades, including being elected as a Hawthornden Writing Fellow in 2013 and being a four-time Derringer Finalist.
