William L. Myers Jr.

William L. Myers, Jr. is a successful American author who specializes in writing legal thrillers. Born in 1958, he grew up in a blue-collar family and inherited a strong work-ethic that drove him to excel in his studies. He pursued his higher education at the University of Pennsylvania School of Law, after completing college.

Upon graduation, Myers began his legal career in a prominent defense firm based in Philadelphia. Although his career was on a fast track to success, he realized that his heart was not in defending corporate America. Consequently, he made a significant career change and started his own firm to represent and fight for the rights of the common man. This transition occurred twenty-five years ago, and since then, Myers has become a highly respected litigation attorney, representing thousands of clients up and down the Eastern Seaboard. He has also had the rare honor of arguing before the United States Supreme Court.

Myers gained widespread recognition in 2017 when he became one of the top ten bestselling authors on Amazon Kindle with his debut novel, A Criminal Defense. This achievement marked the beginning of the Philadelphia Legal Series, which has gained considerable popularity among readers. The third book in the series, A Killer's Alibi, received rave reviews from renowned authors, including New York Times Bestselling author, Bill Lasher, who praised it as a "crackerjack legal thriller" and a "wrenching portrayal of a whole range of father-daughter relations." Myers has since released several other books in the series, including An Engineered Injustice and A Criminal Justice, which was released in 2020 to strong reviews. He currently resides in the suburbs of Philadelphia with his wife, Lisa, and their two pit bulls.
