William Miller is a bestselling mystery-thriller author, who was born and raised in Saint Petersburg, Florida. As a child, he was fascinated by action movies and fantasy novels, which inspired his own writing career. After the September 11 attacks, Miller decided to leave his career in fashion photography to join the United States military. After his military service, he spent several years traveling the world and held a variety of jobs, including teaching English in China and driving a forklift.
Miller eventually decided to pursue his passion for writing and studied creative writing at Eckerd College. Before publishing his first novel, he wrote four hard-boiled mysteries for Delight Games. His debut novel, Noble Vengeance, was published in 2015 and marked the beginning of the Jake Noble series. When he is not writing, Miller enjoys indoor rock climbing, playing the guitar, and immersing himself in the local jazz scene in Saint Petersburg.
