William Shatner

William Shatner is a highly accomplished author and actor, best known for his role as Captain James T. Kirk in the Star Trek series and movies. Shatner has also had a successful career in television, starring in shows such as T.J. Hooker and Boston Legal, for which he won two Emmy Awards and a Golden Globe.

In addition to his work in front of the camera, Shatner is also a prolific writer. He has authored nine Star Trek novels, including the New York Times bestsellers The Ashes of Eden and The Return. Shatner has also written several nonfiction books, such as Get a Life! and I'm Working on That. His autobiography, Up Till Now, was a New York Times best-seller.

Shatner's accomplishments extend beyond acting and writing. He is a dedicated breeder of American Quarter horses and American Saddlebreds, and has had enormous success in equine events, winning numerous world championships. Shatner has also used his passion for horses to give back to the community, starting the Hollywood Charity Horse Show to benefit Los Angeles-based children's charities. He continues to act, write, and work with charities, while also pursuing his interests in equestrian sports.
