Xiaolu Guo is a Chinese novelist and filmmaker known for her exploration of alienation, introspection, and cultural identity in a globalized world. Her critically acclaimed novel, "A Concise Chinese-English Dictionary For Lovers," earned a nomination for the 2007 Orange Prize for Fiction, cementing her reputation as a distinctive voice in contemporary literature.

Guo's multidisciplinary approach spans film and writing, allowing her to examine China's evolving societal landscape through both personal and historical lenses.
