Yangsze Choo

Yangsze Choo is a successful author of fiction, historical fiction, and fantasy books. She was born in Malaysia and is of Chinese descent, making her a fourth-generation Malaysian. Due to her childhood spent in various countries, Choo can communicate in several languages, although she admits her eavesdropping skills are not perfect. After graduating from Harvard University, she worked in corporate jobs before turning to writing.

Choo's debut novel, The Ghost Bride, became a New York Times bestseller and was adapted into a Netflix Original series. Her second novel, The Night Tiger, was a Reese's Book Club Pick and a Big Jubilee Read selection for Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee. Choo's latest book, The Fox Wife, has already garnered much attention, and her previous novels have been made possible through her love of dark chocolate.\n \nChoo's love for reading and eating is a significant part of her life, and she often indulges in both activities simultaneously.
