Navarro's journey as a writer began when her mother suggested the idea to her, despite her initial doubts. It took her two years to get her first story published, followed by another four years until her second story was published. Since then, she has had over a hundred stories published, establishing herself as a prominent figure in the industry.

Navarro is widely recognized in popular culture circles due to her contributions to beloved franchises. She has authored a number of novels, including "Concrete Savior," "Highborn," "AfterAge," "Deadrush," "Final Impact," "Mirror Me," and many more. Additionally, Navarro has written Buffy the Vampire Slayer novels and tie-in novels for Hellboy, Elektra, and others, further solidifying her reputation in the genre.

Born in the era of black and white photographs, Navarro initially aspired to be an artist, with dreams of drawing long, leggy models for a living.
