C.J. Adrien

C.J. Adrien is a published French-American author who has made a name for himself in the genre of historical fiction, with a particular focus on Vikings. His passion for Viking history is evident in his writing, and he has even conducted extensive research in this area in preparation for a doctoral program in early medieval history.

Adrien's two series, which are inspired by his research and admiration for historical fiction writers such as Bernard Cornwell and Ken Follett, have earned him recognition as a bestselling and award-winning author. His expertise in Viking history has also led to him becoming a published historian on the subject, with articles featured in historical journals such as L’Association des Amis de Noirmoutier in France.

Due to his knowledge and expertise, Adrien has been invited to speak at several international events, including the prestigious International Medieval Congress at the University of Leeds, the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI), and various conferences on Viking history in France. Adrien has earned a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Oregon and a Master’s degree from Oregon State University. Currently, he is on the hunt for the right university to complete his doctoral thesis.
