C.J. Tudor

C.J. Tudor is a bestselling author, born in Salisbury and raised in Nottingham, where she currently resides with her partner and young daughter. From a young age, Tudor developed a love for writing, particularly the dark and macabre, often deviating from the Judy Blume books her peers read in favor of Stephen King and James Herbert.

Throughout her career, Tudor has held various positions in different fields, including work as a trainee reporter, radio scriptwriter, dog walker, voiceover artist, and television presenter. Her diverse background and experiences have undoubtedly contributed to her unique storytelling style. Tudor's debut novel, The Chalk Man, became a Sunday Times bestseller, selling in 39 territories and solidifying her reputation as a skilled author in the thriller, fiction, mystery, suspense, psychological thriller, and psychological fiction genres.

Tudor is known for her approachable personality, with friends and colleagues calling her "Caz." She has a distinct style, never overdressed and having never owned a handbag. She has a deep appreciation for music, particularly The Killers, Foo Fighters, and Frank Turner, and enjoys going to concerts at her favorite venue, Rock City. Her film preferences lean towards the supernatural, with Ghostbusters and The Lost Boys among her favorites. Influenced by authors such as Stephen King, Michael Marshall, and Harlan Coben, Tudor is grateful for her teenage years in the 1980s, often indulging in takeaway pizza and champagne or chips with curry sauce after a night out.
