Caitlin Crews is a successful and prolific author of romance novels, who also writes under the name Megan Crane. She was born in New York City and discovered her love for romance novels at the age of twelve. This discovery came about when she found her first romance book in a bargain bin at a five and dime store. The novel featured grand adventures, a heroine with a mind of her own, and a handsome hero. This book had a profound impact on Crews and sparked her lifelong love affair with romance novels.

Crews has lived in various places throughout her life, including York, England, Atlanta, Georgia, and Oregon. She has a deep appreciation for travel and has visited many exotic locations such as Zimbabwe, Botswana, Namibia, Prague, Dublin, Paris, Athens, Nice, the Greek Islands, Rome, Venice, and Hawaii. These experiences have inspired her writing and allowed her to bring unique and diverse settings to life in her novels.

Caitlin Crews is a USA Today-bestselling, RITA-nominated, and critically-acclaimed author. She has written over 100 books, including Frenemies, Princess from the Past, A Royal Without Rules, and Undone by the Sultan's Touch. She has a wide range of writing experience, having written romances, Harlequin Presents, women's fiction, chick lit, and work-for-hire young adult novels. These days, she is focusing on contemporary romance, exploring various themes from small-town heat to international glamour, and featuring a variety of heroes from cowboys to bikers to military men. She holds a MA and PhD in English Literature from the University of York in York, England, and has taught creative writing classes in places such as UCLA Extension's Writers' Program. Currently, she resides in the Pacific Northwest with her husband, who is an animator and comic book artist, and their menagerie of animals.
